This year’s winner, Minju Kim, will have her winning collection produced by H&M and sold in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and select stores in the US. Opening Ceremony in New York, Los Angeles, and London will also sell the collection.

Barneys Collaborates With Jay Z

Barneys New York is officially partnering with Jay Z for the holidays. The promotion with rapper and mogul Shawn “Jay Z” Carter is called “A New York Holiday” and will consist of a collection of limited-edition holiday products. Lanvin, Balenciaga, Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Rick Owens, and Moncler all worked with Jay Z to create custom creations. The area in Barneys where the collection will be sold is dubbed BNY SCC Gallery (short for Barneys New York and Shawn Corey Carter). “With this project, Barneys New York and I were able to take the slickness, energy and innovation of New York City and translate that into quality, timeless pieces,” Carter said. The designs will be on sale Nov. 20 through Jan. 3 at barneys.com and at Barneys flagships in New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, and Boston. A limited quantity of pieces will be available for preorder online before Nov. 20. Twenty-five percent of all sales from the collaboration will go toward the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
