You don’t have to channel Betsy Ross to appreciate quilting. Especially for fall ’13. The quilt trend is more of a tone-on-tone pattern than it is a pieced together fabric. Think puffer, without the bulk. Chanel without the price-tag. Quilting is the answer for adding texture to basic black and can either go boho folksy or moto tough. Here are some quilted finds I am loving right now:

1. Diane Von Furstenberg Chain-Link Quilted Leather Gloves, $265

2. Tibi Long-Sleeve Quilted Peplum Top, $345

3. Rag & Bone Woodstock Pants, $1,395

4. ASOS Shell Top with Contrast Quilted Panel Detailing, $56.95

5. Rag & Bone Beeman Haircalf Loafers, $495

6. ASOS Quilt Hem Coat, $160.18

7. Sea By Chloe Drawstring Quilted Skirt in Vintage Green, now $175

8. Manolo Blahnik Giungla Quilted Leather Skimmer, $695

9. ASOS Only Quilted Pu Skater Skirt, $62.29

10. Michele CSX Diamond Quilted Mosaic Watch Head & 18mm CSX Bracelet Strap, $1,795
