We’ve been enjoying the lovely weather for far too long, it seems. Winter is finally upon us. Though you just want to sit on the couch watching Bravo marathons whilst avoiding shoveling the impending snow, eventually you have to go back out into the world. That doesn’t mean just long johns and a sweatshirt (well, maybe a few trendy sweatshirts), here are a few key pieces to put in rotation this season.
You’ll need a stylish pair of shoes. Something comfortable but something a little different than your standard leather riding boots or those treacherous Uggs. Opt for a heavier fabric on shoes to give them personality.
In my opinion, jacquard is the perfect winter fabric. It can add the perfect amount of shine without being overbearing. If you’re going out, make sure to toss on a jacquard skirt or jacket. You’ll stay stylish and warm all night long.
And no winter wardrobe can be complete without the knit sweater. Make sure to add a bit of personality to yours. Whether it be an oversized, comfy version or an on-trend printed one, you’ll love to wear it from work to happy hour.
Stay warm, friends!
