Vogue China Celebrates 100th Issue
It has been more than eight years since the debut of Vogue China. For its 100th issue, the magazine is giving its 1.2 million readers something spectacular- Marino Testino has shot 153 pages of beauty and fashion trends exclusively for the occasion. Vogue China editor Angelica Cheung is good friends with Testino, who was hand picked to shoot the photos. Chinese film star Shu Qi graces the cover dressed elegantly in all black with a cap and veil. After months of planning, Testino shot most of the images over the course of one week in China. “I wanted to mix all the elements that I find interesting about China- the past, the present and the future,” he said.

IMG Models Signs Christie Brinkley and Daughter
IMG Models has signed Christie Brinkley and her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, for global representation. Brinkley, who has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers, has been teaching her 15-year-old daughter the tricks of the trade. Sailor recently appeared in a campaign for Claire’s Accessories and has modeled alongside her mother. The duo has also traveled to South Africa and Kenya, in support of the First Lady of Kenya’s “Hands Off Our Elephants” anti-poaching campaign. IMG Models’ Ivan Bart issued a statement saying, “Christie’s appeal is timeless; she is a legend in the business and continues to successfully expand her fashion presence and impact as a humanitarian, health and fitness advocate. Sailor is also a classic beauty, who I’m confident will have many opportunities to explore in the world of modeling and beyond.”
