Known for their edgy, ultra chic “beauty shop”, specializing in unique fashion accessories, cosmetics and beauty supplies, Ricky’s NYC is branching into body care and home products with RickyHome. The new collection launched today and is available at Ricky’s stores and online. The collection will feature three products and five scents, which allude to New York City life. The debut range, created in collaboration with Nest Fragrances, includes scented candles, a multifunctional mist called Hair, There, Every-Wear Mist and a soap-on-a-rope. The five fragrances include, Drunk Brunch, which is meant to evoke the scent of bottomless mimosas and hazy recollections of evening happenings with a fruity base and undertones of sandalwood, sweet violet and white musk. The next scent is Walk of Shame, which recalls an early escape home after a shameless night of fun. Notes of sparkling lemon, watery jasmine, sheer musk and lily of the valley are meant to be indicative of a crisp Manhattan morning. The other three scents, Banker Husband captures the scent of the perfect, and affluent, New York City gentleman just out of the shower, while Street Meat elicits the smoky fumes that no New York City-bound pedestrian can escape. Last but not least, Taco Tuesday is said to be a little nod to Mexico, with notes of coconut, tangerine, cumin and red pepper, more sweeter than spicy, meant to celebrate the midweek beer and taco deal. All five scents are unique and have been formulated to evoke fond memories of New York City moments.
