Style Sleuth: Staying Cute Indoors

January 6, 2014 • Magazine, Style Sleuth

Now that the holiday parties are over, there’s nothing you’d rather do than sit in the house all day. I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s freezing outside and you still fill full from all those heavy dinners and partying with friends and family. Now is the time for staying in and staying comfy. That doesn’t mean you have to just wear an oversized T-shirt and flannel pajama pants. You can stay stylish in your home.

Looking stylish at home starts with the pajamas. Silk is the easiest route but bold prints also liven up any outfit. The air might be dry so make sure to keep thick, creamy lotions on hand and be prepared to exfoliate regularly.

And if you simply have to go outside for anything, that’s still no excuse! Sweatpants are all the rage right now and there’s not a better time to catch up on this comfortable trend. If you want to wear a sweatshirt or sweatpants, it’s really about keeping the proportions right. If your pants are super baggy, make sure that your sweater is fitted and vice-versa.

And the best part of shopping for fashion to wear at home? You can have it all delivered straight to your door!
