The animal kingdom at Harrods has closed its doors due to a new womenswear department. The pet section in the past has been home to many exotic animals such as lions, elephants and camels! For costumers looking to cuddle up with an alligator it was the place to go. However, the Endangered Species Act was passed in 1976, and made it illegal for Harrods to sell exotic animals and were only allowed to sell domestic pets like dogs, cats, etc. I guess the only place left to adopt a tiger is the zoo.
