Looks like February isn’t just a month for love, H&M is using the month to go another step towards improving the environment. H&M will be launching the first products made from recycled textile fibers. Did we mention the fibers are from garments collected from their Garment Collecting Initiative? Coming out with five denim pieces shows how H&M is closing the loop on textiles and going towards recycled fabrics. The new jeans are 20% recycled cotton, the maximum any recycled product can be used for recreating fabric. All proceeds made through the garment collecting program will go towards the H&M Conscious Foundation, aimed to finding projects closing the loop on textiles. Shop and go green!
