Eddy Anemian, 24 year old student from Brussels has taken the win for the H&M Design Awards 2014. The jury which included: Erdem (fashion designer), Michelle Harper (style expert), Serena Hood (executive fashion editor of Vogue UK), Sara Maino (senior fashion editor of Vogue Italy), Ann-Sofie Johansson (H&M’s creative head of design), and Margareta van den Bosch (H&M’s creative advisor). Anemian’s collection titled They Can Cut All the Flowers, They Cannot Keep Spring from Coming featured floral upholstery fabrics cut and reconstructed into fluid shapes. The muses behind the collection was Tilda Swinton from I Am Love and French painter Ingres. As for who took home the People’s Prize Award was Henriette Tilanus. With her win Tilanus will have the opportunity to intern for Erdem’s studio in London. Check out Anemian’s designs online and at H&M stores this fall!
