Monique Lhuillier to Debut First Campaign

Monique Lhuillier is launching her first ready-to-wear advertising campaign. The images will make their debut in Vogue’s February and April issues. CEO Thomas Bugbee said the ready-to-wear line, which launched in 2002, is in a period of growth. “We felt it was time to present ready-to-wear campaign that would support our stores in L.A. and New York, which opened in October 2012, along with e-commerce, which we recently launched,” he said. “We also want to support our retail partners: Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York. By having a ready-to-wear campaign, we are able to further build the Monique Lhuillier brand.” The campaign will also appear in T: The New York Times Style Magazine, WSJ magazine, C Magazine, New York magazine, and via Google display ads. Google Glass Now Has Options

Google has announced there are now Google Glass options for prescription glasses. The lenses will be available in newly designed, stylish frames that will cost $225. This is Google’s latest attempt to make the product more consumer friendly before it is released to a wider range of the population at the end of the year. The new Titanium line has four frame shapes and four options for accent colors inside the frames. Google is also adding three options for sunglasses that will cost $150. Prescription Google Glass has been the most requested feature since the face-mounted computers debuted last year.

Clinton Kelly Writing Column

Clinton Kelly, also known as the hilarious cohost of “What Not to Wear” and “The Chew,” is penning a monthly column for Woman’s Day magazine. He will cover topics like where to shop, what to wear, and other fashion dilemmas. Kelly will also write about food and entertaining in the new column, called “Clinton Solves It!” Debuting in the March issue, his first column will spill secrets on how to throw a no-fuss party. Kelly will also be working as contributing editor to Woman’s Day for a year.
