Topshop Set for Fifth Avenue Flagship
Topshop has finally signed a lease for a space uptown in NYC. The new 40,000-square-foot flagship will be located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 49th Street, adjacent to Rockefeller Center. It will be the second-largest Topshop Store after the Oxford Circus location in London and will carry the Topman brand. Within the next year, Sir Philip Green will open four new stores across the country in San Diego, Houston, Atlanta, and Washington D.C. The British retailer’s latest collaboration with Kate Moss will be available on May 1 online, in Topshop stores, and at Nordstrom.
Estée Lauder Taps Stephanie Seymour
Supermodel Stephanie Seymour is now modeling for iconic beauty brand Estée Lauder. Surprisingly, this is her first spokesmodel beauty job. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, the campaign will debut this fall and the ads are “around a new elevated platform in the luxury beauty space, which is expected to be launched this fall,” according to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, global brand president of Estée Lauder. “Stephanie represents modern women today in such a beautifully articulated way and she represents modern beauty and luxury to us. This campaign will speak to the beautiful complexity that makes her who she is.” Hudis added. Seymour joins Carolyn Murphy and Constance Jablonski, also models for Estée Lauder.
