New York Fashion Week Day 5: Monday, February 10, 2014
The day started at 9 am with Matthiew Mirano at the Pavilion at Lincoln Center. We liked the setup best in this venue with benches and three runways because everyone could see the fashion up close. The edgy style on the runway put us in the mood to go clubbing!
Noon by Noor offered unusual color combinations and textures which were quite wearable as well.
Nest we stopped at the HSN Lounge and Lauren interviewed Hal Rubenstein about his new spring collection.
We met Christos Garkinos from LA’s Decades who will be launching his new line of wearable basics called ‘eureka’ this Spring on HSN.
The Dennis Basso Fall ’14 Collection showcased jewel toned furs and luxurious gowns.
We saw sensible street style outside Lincoln Center.
There was also outlandish street style. This guy made Lauren’s day!
Reem Acra presented a jaw-dropping fall 2014 collection. The back of this gown was stunning.
Later that evening we spotted Hugh Jackman at Donna Karan.
Katie Holmes was also in the front row at the Donna Karan Fall 2014 Collection.
Well-known models like Karolina Kurkova walked the runway at Donna Karan.
