New York Fashion Week Fall ’14: The A-Listers Have Finally Arrived!

February 14, 2014 • Celebrity Style, Fashion Blog, New York Fashion Week Fall '14

If you thought seeing Emmy Rossum, Anna Kendrick, AnnaSophia Robb, and Joe Jonas wasn’t enough, get ready to gasp because the second half of New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 was filled with A-listers that seemed to just creep out of the woodwork. Blake Lively, Naomi Watts, Katie Holmes, Kim Basinger and Gwyneth Paltrow all made appearances at shows later in the week. They were spotted looking well put together wearing some major fashion hits.

Victoria Justice at Mara Hoffman

I didn’t showcase this look in my first celebs in the front row for NYFW posts, but I absolutely love the print and leather pants on Victoria Justice at the Mara Hoffman show earlier in the week.

Also earlier in the week, Anna Kendrick was highly visible at many front rows during New York Fashion Week, but this was one of my favorite looks from her at Jill Stuart.

David Beckham at Victoria Beckham

No one looks more dapper than David Beckham carrying his little girl Harper to the front row of his wife’s Fall 2014 runway.

Dakota Fanning didn’t make too many appearances in the front row at NYFW unlike past seasons, but she did check out the Stars Wars print looks at one of her favorite brands, Rodarte.

Sarah Paulson at Marc Jacobs

Actress Sarah Paulson made a few appearances at New York Fashion Week. I have to say that this is the worst appearance of all of them.  I hate this dress with a passion, and thought that she was trying a little too hard with the Victorian avant-garde trend.  But really, it doesn’t matter anyway because the talk of Marc Jacobs wasn’t Sarah Paulson — it was Kendall Jenner, who made her first appearance on a real high fashion catwalk (not Sherri Hill) as an 18-year old model at the Marc Jacobs show.

Beyonce’s little sister Solange Knowles is certainly one girl who knows how to dress and look like a star. She made a few noteworthy appearances at NYFW, including this one at the Milly by Michelle Smith runway wearing orange and cobalt blue alongside Anna Kendrick.

Looking ladylike at shows like Badgley Mischka and Carolina Herrera were stars like Tina Fey and Dita von Teese.

I know that we mainly features womenswear fashion but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous picture of Jon Bon Jovi at Kenneth Cole!

Kim Basinger‘s androgynous look still works — if only it wasn’t compared to her daughter Ireland’s sudden celebrity status.

The girls of Marchesa (Anna Kendrick, Sarah Paulson, Tyra Banks, and Katie Holmes) looked gorgeous in sheer lace and intricate prints.

Bella Thorne, AnnaSophia Robb, Jessica Hart, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton at DVF

No significant A-lister appearances at Diane von Furstenberg but the boho wrap dresses looked nice on Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton, Jesssica Hart, AnnaSophia Robb, and Bella Thorne.

Mary J. Blige, Sarah Rafferty, Giuliana Rancic, and Debra Messing at Dennis Basso

Dennis Basso’s divine furs and luxurious fabrics looked great on Mary J. Blige, Sarah Rafferty, Debra Messing and more. I especially loved Giuliana’s look.

And now we come to the casual crop tops, floral prints, and beautiful basics of Michael Kors, which brought out Naya Rivera, Frieda Pinto, Rose Byrne, Blake Lively and Michael Douglas. Everyone was especially surprised by Blake’s appearance on the scene.

Who knew pastels were for winter. Apparantly it was Francisco Costa’s thing — dressing the A-lister women of the front row at Calvin Klein which included Oscar nominee Lupita Nyong’o and actress Naomi Watts.

And finally, Diane Kruger, Reese Witherspoon, and Gwyneth Paltrow were on hand at the Hugo Boss show to support its new creative director Jason Wu. Usually, though not always, seeing stars like this in the front row is a foreshadowing of amazing things to come. With stars like these in the front row, expect big things from this brand in the coming seasons.
