Sam Edelman is ready to play in the sportswear arena. Edelman has a new apparel collection designed for the 23 to 30 year old woman who works in a creative industry. The new collection is designed to hang near lines such as Free People, Premium Denim, and Ella Moss. Launching next fall, Edelman will be sold at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Hudson’s Bay, Lord & Taylor and Dillard’s and online at Zappos, Amazon and Shopbop. The line ranges from $30 to $170 and features tops, bottoms, dresses and jackets made from materials such as poly/rayon, silk, chiffon, coated denim and leather. The ad campaign this spring will feature Kate Upton (good choice!) to raise its profile.
