L.A.M.B. Collaborates With Hanky Panky

In the latest in a string of deals, Stefani and her fashion label L.A.M.B. have entered into a collaboration with lingerie and thong specialist Hanky Panky. A fan of Hanky Panky thongs, Gwen Stefani and her team reached out to Hanky Panky owners Lida Orzeck and Gayle Epstein about doing a joint collection of intimates bearing the L.A.M.B. x Hanky Panky name.

The line, which has been designed and created by the L.A.M.B. team in conjunction with Hanky Panky’s New York-based studio, includes four groups based on Hanky Panky’s best-selling styles: Geo, Old School, Old English Jersey, Lambie Camo, and Rasta Jersey & Rob. Suggested retail prices range from $23 to $86. The exclusive, music-inspired collection will launch worldwide at major department and specialty stores as well as on hankypanky.com in July.

Salvatore Ferragamo Set to Unveil Fiamma Handbag Line

Salvatore Ferragamo will launch the brand’s latest handbag collection, Fiamma, at its show in Milan on Sunday. Designed by creative director Massimiliano Giornetti, the collection is inspired by the Ferragamo family’s history. The name itself comes from Salvatore Ferragamo’s daughter Fiamma, who served as the brand’s leather accessories and shoe designer for almost 40 years.

The semicircular top handle design is offered in five different sizes, each with a functional pocket fastened with a lock adorning the outside. Other details include top-stitched ribbed handles, a double-zip hardware closure, removable adjustable strap and interior silk lining. The style will be available in a mix of materials including calfskin, python, ostrich, pony hair and crocodile, all accented with sleek metal hardware. Prices for the line range from $1,650 for mini Fiamma to $28,000 for the medium-size Fiamma done in crocodile. The collection will be available for purchase beginning in May.

Jimmy Choo Launching Choo.08° in Milan

Jimmy Choo, which will show its fall collection in Milan on Saturday, is tapping into a growing trend for comfortable and sporty — but still glamorous — footwear with the launch of a collection called Choo.08°. The collection, which takes its name from the longitudinal position of Choo’s design studio in London, features new styles as well as ones that are already part of the brand. Included are biker boots; slip-on skater shoes in matte black python or antique brushed gold leather; flat tuxedo pumps with a pointy toe; rocker boots with straps and snake details, and high-top trainers in a variety of finishes and materials, including sparkles and elasticated lacing.

Another part of Choo.08° features heels more substantial than the stiletto of which the brand is known. They include an urban sandal with a closed toe and thick three-inch heel, and a lace-up shoe with a similar style and height of heel. The company will launch a pop-up Choo.08 space inside Selfridges from April. The collection is priced similarly to Choo’s main line, and starts at 325 pounds, or $543 at current exchange, for the basic skater shoe.
