Dearest New York Fashion Week Designers,
You must understand, I adored your fall 2014 collection shows, but in some cases I had to ask myself, “Haven’t I seen that before? I may already own some of these pieces, so why would I buy it from you?”
Marc, Marc, Marc… did a voice inside me just say “Courreges”? Your space odyssey is fun, and I know you are always trying to show something new, but this look was already covered … in the 60s. Of course I could find wonderful vintage Courrege, but luckily I already own this Courreges Notched V-neck Shift Dress.
Francisco, I know that no one truly owns the rights to ombre or space-dyed knits … or do they? This look in particular reminded me too much of my Missoni Stripe Knit Dress. So why would I get the look from you at Calvin Klein?
Now you, Dianne, in your case I did not mind seeing a repeat. You are the innovator of the wrap dress, celebrating 40 years, and I would buy it from none other than you! I can’t wait so for now I will wear this Diane von Furstenberg New Julian Two Printed Silk Wrap Dress.
Please take my suggestions under consideration.
