Sarah Jessica Parker is entering into the World Wide Web to promote her new shoe line SJP Collection launching exclusively at Nordstrom on Friday. The marketing push is based around a Pinterest campaign “A Day in Her Shoes, SJP: Wear to Go.” The content will be promoted all over social media: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Vine. On top of getting the word out online Parker will also be making personal appearances at Nordstrom stores in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Miami and New York.
Nordstrom set up a Pinterest board dedicated to previewing the footwear in hopes that customers engaging with content, go to the store to meet Parker or place an order online. Parker is the guest editor of the Nordstrom Pinterest board and will also participate in other social media activities including a Twitter chat next month where users can ask questions via the hashtag #SJPxNordstrom. Parker has also created an Instagram account, @SJPCollection especially for this project.
Sarah Jessica Parker will visit Chicago at Nordstrom Michigan Avenue on Friday, March 7th from 4:30 to 5:30. She will sign items from the SJP Collection for customers who make a purchase.
