Maison Lejaby will reveal its first ready to wear collection on Monday and Parisian designer Léa Peckre will take charge. Peckre was influenced by Lejaby’s lingerie especially one of their most iconic pieces, their “nuage” bra. The line plays around with the idea of a second skin comfort and transparency. It features flesh tones and camel hues but also light and midnight blue colors. Their bodysuits and other items will be made in tailoring fabrics like alpaca wool, while their coats, skirts, pants and tops are made out of s stretch material or 3-D fabric. It’s too soon to tell if there will be any future collections, but coming out with a RTW line is perfect for the line’s 130th birthday celebration.
