As part of Tokyo Fashion Week, seven Los Angeles based fashion brands staged presentations and runway shows eager to reach out to Japanese buyers. The event brought together five contemporary brands: Linden, Stella Proseyn, That’s Totally Fine, Together (pictured above) and Katherine Kidd to show their fall collections in L.A. last week. Also included was Bohemian Society and hat and headwear brand Bijou Van Ness. Many of the brands highlighted how their collections use eco-friendly, animal-friendly or sustainable fabrics and materials that resonated with the Japanese people and has sparked interest from Japanese buyers.
