New Studio Sculpt Lash Mascara by MAC will give you defined, long lashes thanks to an innovative new brush design with divided bristles that have been crafted to capture and separate each lash for full-scale impact along with maximum length. The brush looks like it has been split down the sides and has bristles on each side which allows you to pull lashes upwards. The result are super long lashes that are individually coated and a bit curled. Even though MAC claims this mascara offers maximum fullness and thickness, I would not call it a volumizing mascara.
Even moving the brush back and forth at the base of my lashes (which I normally do to make them appear fuller) I could not get the volume I like. So if it’s a fuller, thicker lash you are looking for, this may not be the mascara for you. However, if you want light, long lashes that appear to ‘flutter’ this is worth a try. Since the unique brush does such a beautiful job of separating lashes, you may want to use a coat of Studio Sculpt Lash Mascara on top of your volumizing mascara. I tried that and was extremely happy with the results.
