Adam Levine Adds Women’s to Kmart Line

Adam Levine’s female fans can now also wear a piece of his clothing. The lead vocalist of Maroon 5, coach on NBC’s “The Voice,” and People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2013, is launching a women’s collection in time for summer to add to his namesake men’s wear at Kmart. “My vision for the women’s line was to create a collection that I would like to see a woman wear,” Levine said. “I love a free spirit so I wanted the clothes to have a relaxed and casual side to them. It’s effortless and classic. And in my opinion, classic is never boring.” The apparel is priced from $12.99 to $29.99, with accessories from $6.99 to $29.99.

Glamour Launching Digital Beauty Site

Glamour is throwing its hat into the crowded beauty Webosphere with its own digital site called Lipstick. Launching today at 10 a.m., Lipstick.com is essentially a separate entity from glamour.com and counts as Condé Nast’s first digital spin-off, according to a spokeswoman. Visitors of glamour.com who are looking to peruse beauty content will be directed to Lipstick, which will also have a link on its site that will take readers back to Glamour. Content will be similar to what readers would find on Glamour’s current beauty site, but there will be more of it. Lipstick will also feature stories from contributors such as Vanessa Bayer of “Saturday Night Live”; models Coco Rocha and Chanel Iman, and Bee Shapiro, beauty writer for The New York Times, who is also the daughter of Anna Wintour.

Jerry Hall Back In Dallas For Re:Define Gala

“It’s always great to be back in Dallas,” said Jerry Hall, just after a $25,000 jewel-encrusted cuff was sold off her wrist for charity. Christened the “original supermodel” by debonair auctioneer Alexander Gilkes, Hall was the marquee guest for Re:Define, the third annual contemporary art sale and benefit. It’s no wonder the gala racked up more than $2 million for MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation and the Dallas Contemporary. The catalogue offered works by Julian Schnabel, Damien Hirst, Richard Phillips and more. Phillips was on hand for the event at the Dallas Contemporary and chose the music, selecting languorous rock by Brooklyn duo Starred and a DJ set by Black Bananas. Guests included Chandra North Blaylock, Nasiba Adilova and Hall’s son, Gabriel Jagger.
