Jane Cosmetics is putting their most fashionable foot forward by celebrating beautiful and intelligent young women who are making developments in fields of science and technology. Lynn Tilton, CEO of the trendy cosmetics brand has teamed up with celebrity stylist Ken Paves, to recognize female inventors at the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Championship.
The event is also participating in Buy-one, Give-one. For every Jane cosmetic sold, Jane will donate one beauty product to a woman’s shelter in any community across the country. Sarah Lucero, makeup artist for Jane and Paves will be giving 10 full makeovers to winners of the championship.
The winners will also receive scholarships for their intended university, such as Yale, Harvard, and MIT. The star studded event is being held by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, and has garnered the support of celebrities like Bono, Britney Spears, Snoop Dog, Justin Bieber and X factor finalist and Jane ambassador Rachel Crow. The stars have created this video in support of the championship. The event runs in Saint Louis from April 23-26.
