Editor’s Note: Yes, it is normally our policy to not cover bridal, however, since Taneisha is a bride-to-be, we are allowing her this opportunity to revel in her excitement. Enjoy!

‘Tis the season for holy matrimony!

Any time summer rolls around, you can bet that wedding bells are sure to ring. Maybe that Pinterest page needs a few more bookmarks for the classic barn wedding of 2019, or maybe you’re planning your upcoming white wedding for next year, but you might need a little help trying to decide what you should wear on your big day. Don’t worry, I found a few dresses and accessories to help you look instantly beautiful on your special day!

Everyone wants to be the classic bride. There’s nothing wrong with that… just make sure that the dress is still part of your personality. This is not the day to make a complete 360. Choose a familiar silhouette and play up things from there. If you like ball gowns then this day was tailored made for you. Add sparkles and embellishments to make an impact. If you can’t live without your favorite slim-cut sheath dresses, think about finding a form-fitting gown with a peplum waist.

Maybe everything covered in a thin film of white, cream and eggshell aren’t your thing. Not to worry! Lots of brides (Gwen Stefani or Jessica Biel-Timberlake ring a bell?) have been sporting pale pink wedding dresses. It’s a fun and unexpected update to add a bit of color to your wardrobe.

Whatever you do, just make sure that your day is all about you!
