For the month of May, Queen St. West’s favorite accessory store, Elle Hardware, will donate 10% of their May sales to support Canadian charity Rethink Breast Cancer. Since 2001 Rethink Breast Cancer has been continuously pioneering cutting edge breast cancer education, support and research that speaks to the needs of young women…the new face of breast cancer.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Elle Hardware and will kick off tier first-annual Bling For Boobs shopping event with an in-store event this Sunday, May 4th. The store will open their doors at 11am and will be serving pink champagne cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and will feature a Rethink trunk show, special in-store sales, Rethink dedicated bracelets, gift bags, prize packs and more.
They’ve also hired a local jewelery designer, to create two ‘Reminder Bracelets’ to help support the cause and give back. “I started this line to share all of the things that I love,” says local jewelry designer Marlissa Mai-Lin. “My favorite pieces are the ones that you can wear every day. I love good quality, comfortable wearables that you never want to take off. My goal is to share the pieces that I make, love and wear myself with the rest of the world – particularity for a great cause such as Rethink.”
