THE SALON at ULTA Beauty stylists were quite busy backstage last Friday at Millenium Park in Chicago. Once again this year they styled hair for the School of the Art Institute’s full day of fashion shows on May 2, 2014. There were four shows throughout the day, starting at 9:00 am with the final grand-scale benefit, THE WALK 2014 in the evening. The shows presented the work of students from the SAIC Fashion Department. Stylists from THE SALON at ULTA Beauty, led by Redken Artist/Celebrity Runway Stylist Rodney Cutler and ULTA Manager of Salon Technical Training Jen McGann, created gorgeous hair looks for the SAIC fashion show. Each model was styled in an understated, chic low-slung ponytail. The overall texture of the hair was dry with a center part – a very on-trend look. This chic pony was designed to truly complement each individual garment in the show. Fifteen ULTA stylists created the hair looks for 60 models!
