Vacheron Constantin will reveal three one-of-a-kind watches at today’s New York City Spring Gala at Lincoln Center. The watch costs $140,800 and is part of the brand’s Hommage à l’Art de la Danse series. Each of the watches has its own painting by Edgar Degas as its face. The three paintings include: “Dancers Practicing at the Barre”, “Dancers Near a Set”, and “Two Dancers Entering the Stage.” Each face takes up to two and a half months because of how it is crafted by an individual master enamelist.
