On Thursday evening, names such as: Livia Firth, Narciso Rodriguez and Candice Swanepoel were joined by Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman of The Bottletop Foundation and also the president of PepsiCo Global Beverages Group, Brad Jakeman, for a special occasion. At the event Firth presented to Rodriguez’s line of sustainable handbags for Bottletop x Pepsi the official Green Carpet Challenge Brandmark. The collection of handbags is made out of Amazon Basin friendly leather and recycled aluminum pull tabs and is handcrafted by local women at the Bottletop atelier in Brazil. The new line is in its second season and come in different styles like an envelope clutch that doubles up as an iPad case. The collection uses a new braiding technique that blends upcycled metal with leather.
