The first annual Clio Image Awards took place Wednesday night at the Pierre Hotel in NYC. Creative minds in the fashion and beauty industries were awarded for their work in 2013. Sarah Jessica Parker received the Honorary Clio Award for her contributions to the industry. Host Andy Cohen noted, “She’s drawn comparisons to Audrey Hepburn but better dressed. Has anyone had more influence with fashion than SJP?”
Photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin were awarded the Achievement in Fashion Photography award. On the advertising side, Minneapolis-based firm Peterson Milla Hooks took home two Grand Clio Image Awards for the holiday 2013 “Make Love” Gap Campaign. Ralph Lauren nabbed awards for the RRL store fronts and for their campaign for the fall 2013 accessories collection, which featured rescue dogs.
Other award winners include Kids Creative for the Alexander McQueen campaign featuring Kate Moss, Macy’s Out of Home Poster Campaign for Marcel’s Ray-Ban advertorials, and Coty for their Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance social media content.
