If you are blonde (or have blonde tendencies like me) that last word you want to hear about your hair color is ‘brassiness.’ Thankfully Redken gets this and knowing that no two blondes are alike, they have created a customizable hair care system for all types of blonde hair. New Blonde Idol with Redken’s exclusive Kera-Bright System brightens and helps you maintain your brilliant blonde tresses between salon visits.

The Blonde Idol collection includes a sulfate-free shampoo, a custom-tone daily treatment, a mask and a BBB spray. The technology used in the products tones with custom calibrated dyes, balances with with pH-balanced formulas that maintains hair integrity and cares with ingredients that strengthen, protect and condition.

The Blonde Idol Collection includes;

Redken Blonde Idol Sulfate-Free Shampoo, $18

This formula gently cleanses and softens blonde hair with lightweight moisture. Violet leaf extract, kerabond and lactic acid helps strengthen and boost shine so blonde hair looks bright, soft and beautiful.

Redken Blonde Idol Custom-Tone, $32

This dual-chamber conditioner is the bomb! It comes in two varieties – one for cool or platinum blondes and another for warm or golden blondes (the one I used). Following a fresh color service dial-up weekly to increase color deposit or adjust as needed. A custom calibrated blend of color-depositing and conditioners can be adjusted as needed over time to help deeply condition, strengthen and preserve tonality between salon visits (6 weeks). For medium color deposit (3-4 weeks after service) when tone needs to be slightly adjusted and after sun or light swimming. Then turn it up to the maximum 5-6 weeks after color service when your hair looks brassy or flat for more color deposit. You can use the conditioner every day when dialed to the minimum or up to twice a week when dialed to medium or the max.

Redken Blonde Idol BBB Spray, $19

Use this spray after you shampoo and Custom-Tone to balance, beautify & brighten (BBB) your hair. Spray evenly to damp or towel-dried hair and leave in for increased conditioning. I love it as a detangler. You can also leave it in for a couple of minutes and rinse out for lighter conditioning (but I don’t do that).

Redken Blonde Idol Mask, $20

Use this deep conditioner when your hair needs some extra TLC. It’s lightweight yet nourishing and targets porous, damaged areas with intense hydration and smoothness. The gel texture renews softness and amplifies shine. Apply to towel-dried hair and leave on for 5-15 minutes and rinse out thoroughly.

I have been using these products since my last color 3 weeks ago and I love, love, love them! My color looks as fresh as the first day I had it colored which is something I am not used to, but appreciate!
