For spring and summer 2014 there is no color hotter than no color at all…WHITE! Crisp head-to-toe white was all over the Spring ’14 runway (Cushnie et Ochs, Rebecca Taylor, Thakon, Michael Kors, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Helmut Lang, Derek Lam, Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera – the list is endless) and has infiltrated most retail outlets. The look is fresh and modern and anything but boring. Don’t be afraid to make monochromatic statement – you won’t look like the man from Glad. Wearing all white is super easy and looks great on most. Make sure at least one of the pieces has some texture like lace or pleating. If you want to add a pop of color, do it with your accessories, like shoes, a clutch or a necklace. Take a look at the above slideshow for inspiration.
