I think its fair to name Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos as “Print Masters” in our fashion industry. The soft, abstract prints and sculptural shapes the design duo comes up with are eye-catching and evolving with each and every season. They know how to keep up and push their print aesthetic and their resort 2015 collection has proven just that.
The collection featured a lot of knit tops. For instance, the oversized color-blocked cable knit sweater that was paired with an embroidered pencil skirt. There were also some very interesting sweaterdresses, which were knitted with many bright abstract colors. As for the print factor, the duo used a lot of floral and marble-like designs that looked like they had “ripped” edges, as if they were pieces of art thrown together. The colors throughout the collection compliments each piece. The collection was well put together and cleverly done.
