Nicolas Ghesquière Campaign for Louis Vuitton Fall 2014

Nicolas Ghesquière Debuts First Campaign for Vuitton

Nicolas Ghesquière’s debut fashion campaign for Louis Vuitton has finally been unveiled. Famed photographers Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz and Juergen Teller all shot different images for the campaign and were given free reign to interpret the collection in their own way. The result is an artistic, curated “fashion gallery” called “Series 1” that features actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and models Liya Kebede, Freja Beha Erichsen and Jean Campbell. Weber, Leibovitz and Teller shot the images in Miami, New York and Venice, respectively. There will also be a one-minute video on Vuitton’s website.

AG Taps Alexa Chung for New Collection

British It girl Alexa Chung is teaming up with AG Adriano Goldschmied to design a denim collection. Called Alexa Chung for AG, it will include 20 styles including overalls, denim dresses, tops and jeans. “The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic,” Chung said. Other inspiration Chung drew from is “Chanel, Nineties Versace” and fashion icon Jane Birkin. The collection will reportedly be sold at Selfridges, Net-a-porter.com and Shopbop.com. The pieces, priced between $70 and $300, will also be available at AG’s stores and website. Alexa Chung for AG will hit stores in January, just in time for spring.

The Organic Pharmacy Opening in New York

The Organic Pharmacy is set to open its first New York flagship on June 28th in the West Village on Bleecker Street. The boutique will sell all of the company’s products, which include skin and body care for men and women, fragrance, makeup, herbal supplements and homeopathic remedies. There will also be aestheticians, homeopaths and pharmacists assisting shoppers in the store. Express treatments, facials, makeup consultations, health assessments and homeopathic consultations will be available as well. The company currently has five locations in London and one in Los Angeles. Products from The Organic Pharmacy can also be bought online and at Barneys.
