There is just no escaping the crop top this season, especially when paired with another hot trend of the season – high waisted skirts, shorts and pants. But what if you are either too old, have had a few kids or just not a fan of showing off your midriff? Enter…the long crop or as I like to call it, the mommy crop. Look for versions that are cut a little longer and will conveniently cover your tummy. Besides, the look is a little more sophisticated anyway, which is what you are going for anyway right? Anyone can rock a crop, as long as the cut is loose, boxy and covers all the bits you don’t want exposed. If you are still a little unsure, consider wearing a fitted button-down or tank underneath. OK, or just skip the trend altogether. But why would you when there are so many options at your disposal? Take a look at some of the long crop tops I have found in the slide show above.
