52Eighty Rooftop Lounge played host to the launch party of the WhatRUWearing app and website this past Wednesday evening in Chicago. As a joint effort, Mark Reyes of Windy City Epicurean was in attendance and offered the inspiration for the signature drinks of the “His and Her” cocktails that flowed steadily throughout the evening. Created by East Coast transplant, Farissa Knox, WhatRUWearing is an interactive and user-friendly way to track any favorite outfits, styles and fashion trends of yours and your friends. It allows you to take a picture of your daily look and instantly upload it, making it accessible to your friends and followers to give you feedback and/or kudos on your personal style. It also can serve as your own personal style board allowing you to take style inspiration from others and archive your looks.
The party brought out a fabulous caliber of fashion lovers in Chicago, and despite the dreary weather (which is always a toss-up in Chicago) the specialty cocktails and great conversation made for a delightful evening.
