If last season was all about the distressed or destroyed boyfriend jean, this fall it’s time to patch them up! Grab a pair of patchwork jeans or do-it-yourself! Either keep the patches all denim (in varying shades), use patterned patches or add some decal patches. Every variety works…except for the office, obviously. Make these your weekend uniform. You can find skinny jean versions, but they look best in a boyfriend fit (loose & slouchy) worn low on the hips with rolled cuffs. Wear them now with a tee and your slip-on sneakers and in the fall with a biker jacket and pumps or booties and a chunky sweater. Also, if you prefer patched denim shorts or a jacket, go for it! Take a look at the patched denim items available now in the slideshow above.
