Details magazine publisher Kevin Martinez has joined rival Maxim in the same role. He and has taken eight employees with him from his former employer Condé Nast, and now Details magazine has more than one job to fill. The mass exodus from Condé Nast is a rare occurrence and could be linked to the fact that Details has yet to name a publisher. The rumor mill is spinning that potential replacements for Martinez include Jason Wagenheim who is Teen Vogue’s vice president and publisher. However, Wagenheim denies he is heading to Details. Ex-Condé Naster Patrick Connors who is currently Men’s Fitness’ senior vice president and publisher, another possible replacement was promoted “recently” to senior vice president from vice president, but declined to elaborate further with WWD on the timing of that promotion in relation to Details’ publisher search.
