A Fashionable Farewell: Net-A-Porter’s Send Off

August 1, 2014 • Fashion Blog, Fashion News

Who knew fashion peeps could be so warm and fuzzy? Especially British fashion peeps? Most of us would expect a card, lunch or if we are lucky a watch our last day of work. Yet, Net-a-Porter‘s departing CEO Mark Sebba, had an awe-inspiring and tear-jerking send off as he arrived to work. Think a gospel choir singing Aloe Blacc’s single “The Man” and about a zillion employees (who knew so many people worked for Net-a-Porter?) both in person in England and via live video from New York to China serenading and clapping along on their desks. Thankfully we get to witness the celebration as the company has released a video…and it wasn’t even Sebba’s last day!

After 11 years as Net-a-Porter’s beloved CEO, Sebba announced his retirement earlier this week. Founder Natalie Massenet was also on hnd to show the love. We should all be so lucky to achieve that level of respect.
