Gina Sanders Joins Condé Nast

Condé Nast has announced the new president of global development is Gina Sanders. Before this new title Sanders served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Fairchild Fashion Media for four years. MICA Unveils the “Smart” Bracelet

In January, Intel and Opening Ceremony announced a collaboration titled MICA (My Intelligent Communication Accessory). One item that was just revealed was the “smart” bracelet. The bracelet comes in two styles: one black snakeskin detailed with pearls and lapis stones, and another in white snakeskin with tiger’s eye and obsidian. Both bracelets have a curved screen on the inside of the wrist. However, what the technology this bracelet does is still to be found out.

Launching of Kit and Ace Brand

The t-shirt is getting an upgrade! The wife and son of Lululemon Athletica founder Chip Wilson, stepped away and embarked on a new business venture. Shannon and JJ Wilson opened up the first Kit and Ace store at the end of July and hope to one day rival the success of a Lululemon. The main goal for the new line was to create clothing that could be worn from sunrise to sundown. With that goal in mind the fabric used will not pill, shrink and requires no laundering. The Kit and Ace launch line of T-shirts retail between $58.80 and $77.25. In November bottoms and accessories will be introduced to the line and more stores in locations including New York, Toronto and San Francisco.
