Think you’re too old to wear something sheer? Not true! As long as the see-through parts of your ensemble are in the right places, the sheer trend does not have an expiration date. This trend has been around for several seasons now., but the good (no great) news for Fall ’14 it’s about being understated with your sheerness. In fact, a little something transparent is alluring and sexy. You want to leave something to the imagination so look for sheer panels at the neckline, arms or the bottom of a skirt. You don’t want to be exposing your mid-section or your undergarments…unless you are Madonna, and frankly she shouldn’t be exposing those anymore more herself. Now, I prefer to sheer black, but feel free to venture into other color sheer panels like white and beige. If you are not ready to expose yourself, try a sheer shoe or clutch. Take a look at the slideshow above for inspiration.
