Photographer Roxanne Lowit spent 24 years photographing the late, iconic designer Yves Saint Laurent. Hundreds of her photos are now collected and organized in a new book, fittingly titled “Yves Saint Laurent.” Published by Thames & Hudson, the tome is set to hit stores in November. The photos date from 1978 to Saint Laurent’s finale in 2002 and are very personal, as Lowit was a dear friend of the beloved designer. “He had an aura that nobody would pierce. Ever since I first met him, I wanted to do something on him because I so admired him. He did everything first, and he changed the way women dressed,” she remembered.
