The exhibition will coincide with the publication of Nadine Descendre’s “Pierre Paulin: l’homme et l’oeuvre.”

Lorenzo Serafini for Philosophy

Philosophy has named Lorenzo Serafini the new creative director in hopes of revitalizing the label. Serafini, who recently lead women’s-wear for Dolce & Gabbana and prior to that at Roberto Cavalli. Philosophy hopes that he will bring “new life” into the brand. His first collection will debut pre-fall 2015, and his first runway show is aimed for February in Milan.

Kenneth Cole Hosts CFDA New Member Party

Last night new and veteran CFDA members came together to a location that was familiar to most for the CFDA New Members party. The party took place at Kenneth Cole’s Sutton Place digs, which was familiar to attendees. Lisa Perry hosted the party last year a few floors up in her apartment. The night brought faces such as: Ashley Olsen, Cynthia Rowley, Nanette Lepore and many others. New member Johnny Talbot explained, “It’s a wonderful place to welcome the 30 new members.”
