This past Thursday evening we attended an event that was new to the Fashion Focus line-up. Style Bias: Street Style presented by Hive Chicago featured STEAM STUDIO students of CPS City of Learning Program at the Chicago Cultural Center Sidney R. Yates Gallery. The pop-up design studio and maker space showcased the efforts students applied to media production skills, creative techniques and design thinking to solve real-world challenges. STEAM STUDIO is inspired by design, innovation and pop culture with a focus influenced by Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Participants earned fashion focused digital badges in design, photography, and collaboration with their completed projects through the Chicago City of Learning Program.
