Since borrowing from the boys is such a major trend this season, it only makes sense that loafers are back on trend. Then again, were they ever really out? They were huge in the 60’s and were my shoe of choice (OK, my mother’s) when I was a little girl. I remember she’d put dimes in my penny loafers in case I needed to make an emergency phone call (hey, it was a long time ago). Today I’m now I’ve obsessed with the comfy penny loafer again! This season the loafer comes in bevy of styles such as the lug sole, platform, moccasin and traditional flat. Personally I lean towards the more traditional styles.
