H&M Releasing New Book
It has been a decade since Karl Lagerfeld’s collaboration with H&M and inside the book The First Ten Years a commemorative book H&M is releasing Nov. 6, he speaks on his experience. The book will be released along with the latest collaboration, Alexander Wang for H&M. Other designers that will be seen in the book are Donatella Versace, Roberto Cavalli, and more. The book will retail for $11.50, with 25% of proceeds going to UNICEF.
L.A. Gear Relaunching
The famed 90’s sneaker brand is making a comeback. L.A. Gear will relaunch this spring and the first style will be apart of the “Originals” collection. Tyga is the designer for the latest line of sneakers and also is the brand’s newest creative brand adviser. The first shoe will be L.A. Gear Lights Liquid Gold ($120) in conjunction with the musical artist’s album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
New Accessory Line by Airam and Italia Independent
Italia Independent is collaborating with Airam on a new accessory line made of carbon fiber. The line will include: charms, rings, bracelets and tags. All are hand-made and include details made out of steel or burnished silver. Plans to open flagship stores in New York, Miami and Los Angeles are in the works.
