InStyle’s New Publisher
InStyle magazine is getting makeover on its business side. The fashion mag has hired a new publisher, Nina Lawrence, who recently worked at The Wall Street Journal. This move comes after the Time Inc. owned publication released plans to bridge the gap between digital and print. InStyle is going in a new direction and becoming more digital and e-commerce-friendly.
Alexander Wang to Open London Store
Alexander Wang has announced he will be opening his first London boutique on Albemarle Street in Mayfair early next year. He is the latest of a long list of designers moving to the trendy neighborhood. The latest Alexander Wang location will reportedly span over 6,500 square feet.
Steven Meisel For Pirelli Calendar
The 2015 Pirelli Calendar was finally unveiled yesterday in Milan and features a diverse group of models. Photographed by Steven Meisel in May, the calendar also features styling by Carine Roitfeld and makeup by Pat McGrath. Models who posed for the famed calendar include Gigi Hadid, Candice Huffine, Carolyn Murphy, Cameron Russell, Isabeli Fontana, Adriana Lima, Raquel Zimmermann, Karen Elson, Joan Small, Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Luss and Anna Ewers. “Steven Meisel finds beauty in different people, experimenting with beauty and creating iconic portraits with each model, women who have inspired and continue to inspire him,” said Jimmy Moffat, co-founder and managing director of Art+Commerce, who represents the famed photographer.
