Hudson’s Bay Co. Announces Saks Deal
Hudson’s Bay Co. has unveiled plans for a $1.25 billion, 20-year mortgage on a part of the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in NYC. The transaction will close in early December and the money will mainly be used to pay off debt. The flagship will also go through a renovation in 2015, which will cost $250 million, but will add to Saks’ company value.
