Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue held a luncheon reception for jewelry designer Maria Canale on Wednesday in the Precious Jewels Salon. Models (and Maria) wore gorgeous white gold and diamond pieces from the Maria Canale for Forevermark collections. Maria has 30 years of jewelery designing experience and has worked with an impressive list of brands including Harry Winston, Tiffany, Mikimoto and now with Forevermark. They use De beers diamonds and are socially responsible. Maria said she likes to design diamonds you can “put on and wear comfortably every day.” Maria went on to say, “I love when you forget it is on … but then people say, ‘That’s a beautiful bracelet!'”
She showcased pieces from two of her latest collections: Aster, with flower designs on wire hoops; and Pastiche or “a mix of things” including star shapes, chains and tassels. Maria Canale for Forevermark began with and still includes a bespoke collection with larger diamonds. “Just like a couture dress, you should get a diamond made the way you want it.” she said. Maria Canale offers custom designs from uncut diamonds, too.
The Maria Canale for Forevermark Aster Collection 18k White Gold Diamond Double-Flower Ring was a big hit at our table at the luncheon!
