Betina Holte’s New Seasonless Line
After having a short term line titled Lis.B and then landing a design role at Zac Posen, Betina Holte is back with a whole new collection. Launching this spring at betinaholte.com her debut seasonless line will start with eight pieces, with new pieces added every few months. Prices will vary between $200 to $700. Later this month, the site will begin a blog and newsletter featuring behind-the-scenes look at the brand launch. With the concept of a seasonless collection, you can expect core wardrobe items meant to be layered on and off year round.
Natalia Vodianova for Stella McCartney AGAIN
Stella McCartney’s spring campaign is fronted by Natalia Vodianova for the SEVENTH time. Harley Weir was the photographer on the shoot that was styled by McCartney herself. The images will come out in major publications in March and will run as six images in a single page and a double page spread. A mood film featuring the Paul McCartney song “Ram On” will accompany the still images.
Sigrid Olsen on HSN
The designer will launch a new collection titled Sigrid Olsen Studio in partnership with HSN Inc. this April. The line will have three HSN collections a year and feature 25 pieces in each. A major focal point for the collection is the beach-to-bistro tunics. Other pieces included in the collection are: crocheted tunics with camis, laundered linen cropped pants, a dance dress and easy knit pants.
