Nic + Zoe Pick Karolina Kurkova
The Boston based knitwear firm, Nic + Zoe, has chosen model Karolina Kurkova for its spring campaign. The pictures were photographed by Dusan Reljin and styled by Sarah Gore Reeves. Ads will be revealed in publications such as: Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and Town & Country in March.
Revamped Rodeo Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton has elevated the art when taking a show on the road with “Series 2,” a digital experience formed around Nicolas Ghesquière’s second collection. The first stop will be tonight in Los Angeles, where the newly renovated Rodeo Drive flagship opened Saturday night. The exhibit came up last year after Ghesquière’s first Vuitton runway show, which “Series 1” was created in Shanghai and Tokyo. “Series 2” will be located at 1135 North Highland Boulevard and will immerse guests inside the Louis Vuitton spring-summer 2015 fashion show.
Macy’s Dress Department Makeover
BCBGeneration is giving Macy’s dress department a makeover with a new program targeting the Millennial shopper. The line will launch in March with 26 pieces that retail from $98 to $188. Included in the collection will be: day and cocktail dresses, evening garments, palazzo pants and rompers. You can expect lace, floral, tulle and grosgrain ribbon.
