Origami Owl Clara Studs

Jewelry gets awfully expensive when you have metal allergies. Trust me. Costume jewelry is rarely an option, so I usually don’t even give it a second look. However, much to my surprise my new favorite pair of stud earrings are inexpensive and hypoallergenic!

Origami Owl Clara Stud Earrings are nickel and lead-free and made with surgical steel posts. Best part? They cost only $20. $20! I have never been able to wear a $20 pair of earrings in my life. Which begs the question…why isn’t all costume jewelry surgical steel? I was initially nervous to try them because my ears can detect base-metals, nickle and the like within about a half hour. Well I have been wearing them for about a month now with no problems (no irritation or green lobes). In fact, I have only taken them off to sleep! Besides the clear version pictured above, Clara studs are also available in a version with rose colored Swarovski crystals and dark grey Swarovski crystals. Heck for $60 own all three pairs! Or try the Sophia Studs which are essentially the same, but with a pave halo for $28.

Origami Owl is a customizable jewelry brand that was founded four years ago by then 14 year-old Bella Weems. They are known for their signature Living Lockets which can be personalized with an individual’s own life journey through charms which can be switched in and out of their lockets. The company is deeply committed to being a force for good and making a difference in the lives of others and now has more than 60,000 Independent Designers (distributors) across the country.
